Find the job.
Not just the listing.
A guided, hands-on job finding programme for skilled migrants. Learn to reach decision-makers directly — with someone who has done it for over 30 years.
Acceptance into this programme requires a readiness confirmation from Tate before the programme begins.
This programme is for candidates who are ready
Job Finding Support is a high-engagement, employer-facing programme. To protect your time and ensure the programme delivers results, Tate confirms two things before accepting any candidate.
Four problems that cost migrants months
Skilled professionals entering New Zealand and Australia face the same obstacles at the job hunting stage. They are not problems of ability. They are problems of method.
Every article is read, every strategy discussed, but the first call is never made. Knowledge without action is not preparation — it is delay with a comfortable name.
When an opportunity appears, there is no confident, practised way to communicate value quickly. Hesitation in the first impression is rarely recovered from.
Job boards are where hundreds of CVs compete for a single vacancy. Decision-makers who have not yet advertised are not on job boards. They are one direct call away.
Without a documented outreach campaign and a consistent routine, effort scatters, confidence drops, and timelines stretch from weeks into months.
Five components. One clear objective.
Every component is sequenced to build preparation, then momentum, then results. The objective is a job offer — and every element serves that outcome directly.
A clear, confident introduction developed with Tate that communicates your professional value in the first thirty seconds of any conversation. This becomes the foundation for your CV professional summary, your LinkedIn About section, and every direct employer conversation across the campaign.
A personalised report mapping your experience to relevant job sectors, roles, and target companies in the NZ or AU market. The preparation stage identifies where demand is strongest for a profile like yours and aligns your outreach to where your chances are highest.
Watch Tate contact employers directly on your behalf, in real time, across a 90-minute live session. Real calls. Real decision-makers. Real conversations in your target market. You absorb the method by observing it in action — not by reading about it.
A structured outreach system that documents every action, tracks employer responses, and builds consistent momentum across six weeks of active job hunting. Quality tracking reveals patterns in your target segment and surfaces opportunities that unstructured effort misses entirely.
Direct access to Tate for the full six-week campaign period. Questions answered, strategies adjusted, confidence maintained. Tate is your support person for any job-related question at any point in the process.
Three stages. Six weeks of active support.
Strengths are clarified. The elevator pitch is developed. The target market is identified and the Job Fit Report is produced. This stage takes a few days and sets the foundation for everything that follows.
Tate contacts employers directly in a live 90-minute session while you observe. Real calls to real decision-makers in your market. You see exactly how it is done, for your own profile, in real time.
You take over with full support. Structured outreach, tracked progress, weekly coaching. Six weeks of consistent, measurable momentum. The clock starts when outreach begins.
A direct path to the person who can hire you
The primary method is direct employer contact. You bypass the application queue and speak with the people who are involved in and knowledgeable about the hiring process. The sequence below is how a cold name becomes a real conversation.
Direct contact produces a response rate that no CV submitted to a job board can replicate. When you call, you are already ahead of everyone who applied online — you are the only person in that moment. Other job hunting methods are welcome alongside this one. But direct contact is taught first, practised first, and tracked most carefully. Once you have it, it works in any country, any industry, and at any career level.
Thirty years of direct contact. Seventeen of them in NZ and AU.
The direct contact approach is not a technique Tate teaches from a textbook. It is the method he has used for 30 years — and 17 of those years have been spent applying it directly in the New Zealand and Australian job markets.
You are welcome to use other methods alongside this one. But Tate will encourage you to learn direct contact thoroughly first, because once you have it, you will always have it. It is the highest-return activity in a job search, and it is the one most people avoid.
This programme exists to make sure you do not avoid it — and that when you do it, you do it well.
Four things you will not find elsewhere
You observe Tate contacting real employers in your target market, live. The method is demonstrated before you are asked to practise it yourself.
The elevator pitch developed in preparation transfers directly to your CV professional summary, your LinkedIn About section, and every employer conversation in the campaign.
Every outreach action is documented. Every response is tracked. Progress is measurable from week one, which keeps momentum honest and adjustments timely.
Direct employer contact works in any country, any sector, and at any career stage. Business development, contractor outreach, future role changes — this method applies to all of them.
I would have struggled to find a suitable job offer without your guidance and the tools you provide. It has truly changed our lives.Jarrod F Qualified Plumber — Project Manager
